Spend the night in a glass igloo to watch the Northern Lights in Finnish Lapland. Many of our winter tours include a stay in a glass igloo or offer the option to upgrade or book an extra night in a glass igloo or Aurora cabin.
The term ‘glass igloo’ is used for many types of innovative accommodation specially designed to watch the Northern Lights. Stay in a traditional glass igloo at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort or in a modern Aurora cabin, an in-between cabin and glass igloo with a glass roof, corner or wall. Common to all is that the glass is heated and provides panoramic views of the sky and the Northern Lights should they make an appearance.
