How to enter the competition
The competition is very easy to enter. All you need to do is to write about the best part of your travel and support your writing with photos or video. Feel free to get creative with the direction of the story, but make sure to follow the article guidelines. The best pieces will be featured on our website and social media platforms.
We always love seeing photos and videos from our travellers – so if you’re not much of a writer you can also enter the competition by sending us your best photos or video only. Kindly note that our judges will value articles supported by photos and/or video higher when choosing the final winner.
To sum up, you can enter the competition in 3 ways:
- Send us your writing supported by photos or/and video
- Send us your best photo
- Send us your best video
Then simply reply to the ‘End of Tour Letter’ email and attach your piece or send it to info@authentic-scandinavia.com

The article guidelines
- The length of the article should be no greater than 1,500 words
- The article must be accompanied by photos (min. 3) in high resolution or video
- Use headings and subheadings to make sure that your text is easy to follow
What to write about (for inspirational purposes only)
- Something that inspired you on your travel
- The best experience you had while travelling
- Your top 3 activities
- Your favourite place of interest and why. It might be one of the most breathtaking views you have ever seen. You can describe some great sightseeing locations, restaurants, cafés or bars
Rules & Conditions
- The contest is open to all travellers who have travelled with Authentic Scandinavia AS
- You can only use your own photos or free copyright pictures
- Authentic Scandinavia has the right to use and/or edit any submitted text, photos and/or video for marketing purposes.
- Prohibited content includes: malicious or vulgar text or images, links to third party sites
- Entrants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for the prize.
- The competition is open from January 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.
- The winner will be announced in February 2025.
The prize
The competition prize is a holiday for two to Scandinavia. More details will be revealed later. No cash alternative will be offered.
Winner
A winner will be chosen among the entries we receive during the year in February 2025. The winner will be notified by e-mail.

- We have the right to publish, edit, promote or otherwise use the entries in any way we find best suitable on our social media pages and website. You warrant that you are legally entitled to grant us these rights.
