The two level luxury Lappish glass igloo Komsio Suites are equipped with a double bed on the loft and a convertable sofa downstairs. You will also find an electric fireplace, mini fridge and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The suites are 28m2 and here you can sleep up to 4 persons. There is a heated glass roof above the bed on the loft.
The similar newly built Kammi Suites are authentic, ecological, and filled with stories from the past. The suites come with a double bed on the loft and two convertible single sofa beds downstairs. There is a living area, dining area, kitchenette (with fridge, induction hob and microwave), an electric fireplace, and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The suites are 32m2 and you can sleep up to 4 persons. There is a heated glass roof above the bed on the loft.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in both types of suites.
The onsite restaurant Aitta serves delicious Nordic cuisine with a modern twist, using only local ingredients. In the middle of the restaurant is a huge stone fireplace oven and here they bake buns and braise wonderful stew. The high windows provide excellent views over the lake.
Apukka Resort has 6 saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. The surrounding area is a true winter wonderland and here you can take advantage of winter activities such as dog sledding, snowmobile safaris, reindeer safaris as well as the heated Snowtrain taking you out through the wintry landscape searching for the Northern Lights.
