Kirkenes Snow Hotel is entirely constructed from snow and ice each year. You will sleep in beds with proper mattresses on ice blocks. You will get a sleeping bag, sheet, woolen socks and a woolen overnight hat. Heated service building next door.
Since 2006, Kirkenes Snow Hotel is built up again each winter. It is located in Gabba Reindeer Park, just outside Kirkenes. Enjoy a welcome drink in the Snow Bar and say hello to the reindeer. The starter will be served in the cozy Gabba Restaurant, the main dish and dessert in the Bingen Restaurants in the main building, both located just opposite the Snow Hotel. The restaurants serve delicious food from the region, in the Gabba Restaurant prepared by the open fire.
Every guest at the Snow Hotel will sleep like Snow Queens and Kings in the Snow Suites! The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and illuminated by art made of snow. There are curtains in front of every Snow Suite. Temperature varies from -4 Celsius degrees to -6 Celsius degrees.
Next to the snow hotel you will find the warm restaurant, lounge, wardrobes/toilets and showers/sauna. For guests having trouble sleeping in the Snow Suites, there is a small sleeping area by the restaurant.
