Starting at Brändön Lodge you will be introduced to a local Sami man; Jon-Anders who will give you an insight into his culture and way of life in Swedish Lapland.
Today you will walk around in a reindeer enclosure together with your Sami guide Jon-Anders who will explain about the “year of the reindeer”, the eight seasons and how they work with the reindeer and nature in each of these seasons. You then continue the walk into the forest with the reindeer towards a traditional Sami tent in the middle of the forest.
On arrival to the tent you will sit down around the fire for a cup of tea, take in the atmosphere and continue the discussion with Jon-Anders.
