Northern Lights Ice Floating in Levi

Experience ice floating under the arctic sky in Levi, Finnish Lapland. With some luck the Northern Lights are dancing across the sky right above your head.  

Step into the lake, let the calm water carry you and close your eyes. Breath in the fresh air and feel your body and mind relax.

You will be floating in the icy water in a high-quality rescue suit designed for arctic water keeping you dry and warm. You will have your own clothing under the suit. On a clear night you will see the sky filled with stars, and with some luck the magnificent Aurora Borealis will reflect on the water. 

You will receive detailed instructions before stepping into the water. No swimming skills are required, as the suit will keep you on the surface. 

Available:

Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from January 6 to March 31.

Departure:

19:30 hrs. 

Duration:

3,5 hours.

English.

Child policy:

25% discount (4-14 years). Minimum height for floating is 120 cm.

Please note:

Minimum 2 participants: If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travelers participating.

Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.

Northern Lights: Kindly note that Northern Lights observations are never guaranteed (depending on solar activity and a clear sky). No refund can be made for activities booked if you do not see the Northern Lights.
