Experience the majestic wild moose on a horseback in the forests surrounding Kiruna. With some luck, you could also see other wildlife such as reindeers, birds, hares, and foxes in this beautiful winter wonderland.
A bus will take you from the Ice Hotel to the Olefaš Icelandic horse farm in the forests of Kebnekaise, Sweden’s highest mountain range. On arrival you will meet the farms animals and prepare your own horse, by grooming, saddling, and brindling it. When the horse is ready, you will start the journey to spot the king of the forest. During wintertime these forests offer a great opportunity to see moose's up close.
After returning from the safari, you will help unsaddling the horses and you will be served a traditional 3-course lunch with coffee and tea. After the lunch a bus will bring you back to the Ice Hotel.
