Your guide will give you an insight into the nature of the frozen sea, the ice conditions and how to safely navigate in this frozen world. Ice fishing on the frozen sea ice is an important part of the local lifestyle and for generations it has been a way for people to supplement their diet.
This two hour tour includes a break with a hot beverage and some sweet bread. Your guide will bring all necessary equipment and you will travel on a big snowmobile sled to reach the best locations. You will drill holes in the ice and start fishing for “the big one”. A normal catch would be perch or sometimes pike.
