Hunt for the Northern Lights silently speeding through the arctic forests just outside Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland on your electric snowmobile.
The silent electric snowmobiles, eSleds, offer an environmentally sustainable way to enjoy the clean and fresh Arctic nature on an exciting safari. The eSled is very easy to drive for beginners due to its special electric drive.
You ride your eSled to the top of a hill, far from the city lights – an ideal place for watching the Northern Lights. The total driving time is approx. 1.5-2 hours. You stop to observe and admire the night sky and stars, and, if you are lucky, watch the dancing Northern Lights in the sky. The guide is happy to help you with camera settings if you wish to take pictures. During the stop you will warm up by the fire in a private hunting cabin and enjoy a Finnish supper.
Two persons will share a sled. It is possible to drive your own sled for an additional cost. Please let us know during the booking process of you are interested in driving your own sled.

Special conditions: The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age. A valid driving license is required. A minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travelers participating. The tour is not suitable for pregnant women.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
