Enjoy an environmentally friendly electric snowmobile safari in the afternoon through the arctic forests to a hunting cabin in the outskirts of Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland. Drive silently through the arctic nature and enjoy the silence and clean air.
The silent electric snowmobiles, eSleds, offer an environmentally sustainable way to enjoy the clean and fresh Arctic nature on an exciting safari. The eSled is very easy to drive for beginners due to its special electric drive.
On this afternoon safari, you will be taken to a hunting cabin in the middle of the forest. The journey begins in daylight with crossing the frozen Lake Lehtojärvi and continues through bogs and forests. The total distance is approx. 15-30 km. You stop at a hunting cabin on the top of a hill to warm yourself by the fire and to enjoy hot juice, sausages and cookies before heading back as the daylight fades and stars light up in the sky.
Two persons will share a sled. It is possible to drive your own sled for an additional cost. Please let us know during the booking process of you are interested in driving your own sled.

Special conditions: The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age. A valid driving license is required. A minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travelers participating. The tour is not suitable for pregnant women.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
