Travelling on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer is a very old way of travelling in Finnish Lapland. This traditional mode of transport brings you closer to the beautiful peacefulness of the arctic forest just outside Rovaniemi.
Sit comfortably in a sleigh and lay back, take photos of the nature around you and listen to the sounds of the reindeer caravan.
A reindeer herder has prepared coffee and a snack by the campfire and will share interesting stories about reindeer herding and the wilderness life in Finnish Lapland. Two persons per reindeer sleigh unless otherwise advised at the farm.

Approximately 25% (4-12 years). Parents with small children, please consider if your child is able to sit in a sleigh for 1 hour in winter conditions. Kindly note, there are no shortcuts from the forest back to the farm.
Guide, winter clothing (thermal overall, winter boots, woollen socks, woollen scarf, beanie and gloves), visit to the reindeer farm with a 45-60 minutes sleigh ride, hot drinks and a snack whilst listening to the stories of the reindeer herder way of life, return transfer from Rovaniemi city centre, Santa Claus Holiday Village, Nova Skyland Hotel, Apukka Resort, Santa's Igloos Arctic Circle, Arctic TreeHouse Hotel or Vaattunki Wilderness Resort.
Special conditions: A minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone, you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
