Get ready for a winter adventure with the huskies! Discover the snow-covered forest just outside Rovaniemi while driving your own team of Alaskan huskies. Enjoy the exiting dog sledding ride on this long track and learn more about the huskies and how they live in the kennel.
The musher will provide instructions on how to drive your own team of huskies before speeding off into the magnificent taiga forest and frozen marsh. Breathe in the pure air and enjoy the exhilarating ride through the snow-covered arctic winter landscape. Two passengers share one sled and halfway it is possible to swap drivers.
When you return to the camp, your guide will invite you to the kennels to show you how the dogs are cared for. There will be plenty of time to cuddle with your new husky friends. The musher will tell you stories about the life of the dogs by an open fire where you enjoy a hot drink and biscuits.

25% discount (4-12 years) children must be seated in the sleigh. Please note that the ride is approx. 2 hours in winter conditions.
Winter clothing (thermal overall, winter boots, woollen socks, woollen scarf, beanie and gloves), husky kennel visit, 50-60 min husky safari of 10 km, 2 persons per team, children in sleigh, hot drinks and cookies, guiding in English.
Special conditions: Minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travelers participating. Normal physical condition is needed to participate on the excursion.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
