Join this arctic dog sledding adventure during the dark magical night together with some friendly husky dogs. Your guide will pick you up from Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort and provide you with a thermal outfit.
Then it is time to meet the adorable husky dogs that are waiting for you in front of their sledges. You will be given instructions by the guide on how to stop, turn and drive the husky sledge. The sled is for 2 people with one person seated in the sleigh and the other one standing and driving in the back, you can swap drivers half way.
With your team, you will drive further away from the glow of the artificial lights to find the Northern Lights. After arriving back at the farm and thanking the dogs for the adventure it is time for a hot drink and some husky stories.

Transfers, guide, thermal clothing (warm overall, winter boots, gloves, warm hat), 1-hour dog sledding and hot drink.
Special conditions: In order to drive the sled a minimum weight of 45-50 kg is required. For safety reasons, women who are pregnant cannot join this activity. Minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travelers participating. Good physical condition is required to participate. If you have any medical conditions this should be communicated to Kakslauttanen in advance.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
Northern Lights: Kindly note that Northern Lights observations are never guaranteed (depending on solar activity and a clear sky). No refund can be made for activities booked if you do not see the northern lights.
