Enjoy a candle lit dinner on the frozen arctic sea just outside Luleå in Swedish Lapland. Your evening starts with a snowmobile sled transfer from your lodge to an Aurora Hideaway.
The Aurora Hideaways are small “restaurants” that are moved around in the archipelago with a so called "snow cat". The best place for the evening is chosen depending on wind, weather and ice conditions.
On your arrival at the Aurora Hideaway you will be introduced and welcomed with a drink (wine, beer or hot drink). The stove in the Aurora Hideaway has a sparkling fire roaring and the candles and tealights creates a magic atmosphere. Step outside and look for the Northern Lights or simply enjoy the silence and the stars in the sky. Snowshoes are available so that you can go for a short walk while the guide prepares your meal.
Your guide will serve a hot steamy soup as your first dish. The main course will be prepared over the outdoor fire and after a relaxing evening on the ice, coffee/tea and dessert is served before returning back to your lodge.
