Aurora Camp by the Lake from Northern Lights Village

An unforgettable evening, a roaring fire and the spectacular dance of the Northern Lights await you in the Aurora Camp near a picturesque lake close to Saariselkä in Finnish Lapland.

This aurora expedition begins with a comfortable bus journey with stops for photography at Lake Inari, historically considered Ukko the Overgod's residence by ancient Laplanders. The expedition proceeds to the nearby Aurora Camp.

At the camp, participants find warmth in a hut by the fire, indulge in a hot beverage and traditional Lapland midnight snack while awaiting the magical appearance of the Northern Lights in the arctic sky. Grab a reindeer hide, lie down in the snow, and enjoy an unforgettable experience. If the evening is completely calm, you may even hear the whispers of the Northern Lights…
