Short blue ice hike at Nigardsbreen

Experience a 1.5-hour guided glacier walk at the Nigards Glacier. Discover the strength and power of Norwegian nature and learn more about glaciers.

Experience what glacier hiking is really like. Together with professional glacier guides and the right equipment you will explore the Nigardsbreen Glacier.

The route through the blue ice landscape - with towers, pinnacles, and crevasses - is not flat and in some parts, it climbs quite steep up and down. Therefore, you should be used to walk on an easy mountain path. The adventure starts with a 5–10 minute boat trip, followed by a walk up to the glacier. You will then be roped up and walk with crampons and ice axe along the ice. Sometimes you might even have to crawl through ice tunnels.

This is an unforgettable experience so make sure you bring your camera.
