Kirkenes Snow Hotel is set in idyllic surroundings near Gabba Reindeer Park. Your adventure begins with a stroll up to the hotel and into Norway’s largest ice bar. Upon arrival you are served an ice-cold crowberry shot, locally known as” Rudolf’s Revenge”! The guide will then show you around the Snow Hotel, including some of the magnificent suites containing art made from snow and ice. Then it is time to meet the reindeers and visit the dog yard to meet the huskies that live there. This is an excellent photo opportunity so don’t forget to bring your camera! Before departure, you can relax by the glowing fire in the hotel’s restaurant and relish a light bite of local food. On your way back, you make a stop at Prestfjellet Mountain which offers a magnificent panorama of the town of Kirkenes and the surrounding area.
