8A: Breakfast at the North Cape

Join this excursion from Honningsvåg to the North Cape and Hammerfest. This is a unique tour through impressive scenery to enjoy breakfast at North Cape Hall.

The North Cape Plateau is located 307 metres above sea level and the views are unforgettable. Early travellers had to climb the cliff paths, helped by local sailors, and their names can still be seen scratched into the rock. Today every comfort is provided.
Breakfast is served in North Cape Hall, perched on top and carved into the side of the cliff, with a lavish buffet and views out across the endless horizon. In the North Cape Hall, Ivo Caprino’s widescreen film portrays the North Cape above and below the waves.
You can also visit a souvenir shop, built directly into the cliff and featuring a viewpoint, small chapel and Thai museum curiously commemorating the King of Siam´s visit here in 1907. From Honningsvåg, you will drive through an underwater tunnel that connects the town with the mainland. The bus continues south along the majestic Porsangerfjord before heading back to the coast and Hammerfest, the northernmost town in the world, where you rejoin the ship.
