Get an insight in a musher’s everyday life on this exciting excursion into the remote wilderness of Swedish Lapland! Join as a passenger or drive your own team of dogs (at an additional cost).
This dog sledding tour will take you into the winter landscapes to a wilderness camp. Your team of huskies is driven by an experienced musher who is happy to answer your questions throughout the trip. Halfway into the journey a warming lunch is served at a cosy wilderness camp while the dogs rest. All guests, both passengers and those driving themselves, will meet for lunch. Guests joining as passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the Ice Hotel.
Those who would like to drive their own sled, will be transported by snowmobile sled to the dog kennel which is about 2 kilometers away from the Ice Hotel. They start and end the tour from there, and will help to take off the harnesses after the tour and have time to cuddle the dogs.
There are experienced guides who will answer all your questions about dogs, equipment, expeditions and competitions.

Special conditions: The age for driving your own sled is minimum 15 years. Younger participants and children will drive as passenger in the guide's sled. Minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this add-on as there might be other travelers participating.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
