Dog Sledding - half day
Experience dog sledding in ideal terrain on the Kvaløya Island. Around 240 friendly Alaskan huskies loudly cheer you upon arrival.
If the conditions allow it you can drive your own team or can ride on a sledge covered with warm reindeer skins and driven by an expert guide. Should you wish to drive your own team please note that you must inform us in advance.
After the dog sledding you will receive a Sami meal followed by hot coffee and homemade cake, served around an open fire in a traditional sami tent.
- Departure: 09:45 from the Radisson Blu Hotel/city centre
- Duration: 4 hours, including 30 minutes transfer each way and approximately 1 hour dog-sledding.
