Before going onto the glacier, the guides make sure that you are ready to go safely on the glacier.
When on the glacier, you can experience the always evolving glacier, with a raw terrain.
You will be able to see most beautiful azure and cobalt blues if you look at the ice. Further, you will get to see gaps, ice formations, sink holes, various caves and sharp edges.
Your guides will make sure you are secure and safe, and will provide you with nice facts and information about the glacier.
After the glacier, you will make a stop at the Skógafoss waterfall, which will make the whole experience even better.
During this combination tour you will get acquainted with the Icelandic horse before relaxing in the Blue Lagoon.
You will be driven to a horse farm close to Reykjavik where you will meet the horses. The Iceland horse is a breed that has remained virtually unchanged since the Vikings brought it to Iceland in the 9th century. Overalls and boots are supplied if needed. You will go for a one hour ride. After the riding experience you will head out to the Blue Lagoon for a relaxing bath.
The Blue lagoon is a unique wonder of nature with pleasantly warm mineral-rich geothermal water set in the middle of a black lava field. The high levels of silica and minerals give the lagoon its rich blue color. You will be able to have a relaxed bath in the warm water and even enjoy one the spa treatments available (recommended to book in advance).
The tour has flexible duration as you can choose between different departure times from the Blue Lagoon back to your hotel in Reykjavik. Driving time from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavik is around 50 minutes.

This full day guided coach tour introduces you to some of the best known historical sites and natural phenomena in Iceland including Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs and Þingvellir National Park.
The tour starts by visiting Nesjavellir (if weather and road conditions allow), a high temperature geothermal area in the scenic landscape of Lake Þingvallavatn. From there you go to the Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was founded in the year 930 AD. Þingvellir is geologically remarkable, and the tectonic plate boundaries form a breathtaking scenery.
From there you continue to the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss, where you can walk so close to the edge that you might feel the mist of the glacial water on your face. The lunch break is usually at the Gullfoss Cafe or alternatively at the Information Center at Geysir. Please note that lunch is not included in the tour but can be bought on site or you can take it with you.
From Gullfoss Cafe the journey continues towards the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. From there you proceed to Skálholt church, the ancient seat of the Icelandic bishops. A short stop will be made at the Geothermal Powerplant Hellisheidavirkjun (entrance not included) before returning to Reykjavik.
The Golden Circle tour allows visitors to experience some of Iceland’s most famous and exciting natural phenomena. Your first stop will be at Thingvellir National Park which is one of Iceland’s most significant historical sites. From Thingvellir you head along mountain tracks to Geysir hot spring area and Gullfoss waterfall (“the Golden waterfall”). What makes this Golden Circle tour special is that you travel by Super Jeep. A Super Jeep is originally a standard truck/SUV or van that is modified according to strict regulations in Iceland. It is basically an especially equipped 4×4 vehicle with very large tires (36-46 inch or 95-120 cm tall) that is designed appositely to face Icelandic demanding terrains and unpredictable weather both in winter and summer.
Next it will be time to kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland’s nature and go for a one hour snowmobiling tour at/near Langjökull area, Iceland’s second largest glacier.
This 6-hour guided coach tour includes some of Iceland’s nature highlights and covers about 300 km, looping from Reykjavik into central Iceland and back. The Golden Circle includes the ‘Big Three’ – Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs and Þingvellir National Park. The tour starts with a drive inland to Þingvellir National Park where you will experience one of the most outstanding landscapes in the country. The area is surrounded by mountains and encompasses a vast lava plain of green moss and wild flowers. Þingvellir is also where the world’s oldest parliament was founded in the year 930. In 2004 the site of Þingvellir was inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. From the national park the journey continues to Gullfoss, the ‘Golden Waterfall’, which is the most famous of the country’s many waterfalls and to Geysir geothermal area, with many bubbling hot springs and spouting geysers.
On this tour, you will go to the Langjökull glacier, deep inside the glacier, which is one of the largest man made ice caves.
On your way to the glacier, you will stop at the most commanding hot spring in Europe: “Deildartunguhver”, and the beautiful Hraunfossar waterfalls, which is a series of waterfalls formed by creeks streaming out of a lava field.
You will have a lunch break at the Húsafell Bistro before you go on the glacier vehicle.
The caves are made of a system of tunnels and chambers, that spring approximately 300 meters into the ice cap, towards a natural ice cave in the middle of the glacier.
Going into the glacier gives you a chance to experience the unique chambers and to walk over a special man-made ice bridge. While walking further into the tunnel, you notice that the ice gets older and the colour changes to deep-blue.
Always have been dreaming about getting married in a glacier? There is even a little ice chapel in the glacier.
Do not forget to bring your swimsuits and towels, since the tour will end at the thermal pool in Húsafell.
This tour will take you back in time while visiting this cave tour that features the 1100 years old Víðgelmir. On the way to the cave, you will stop to visit the strongest hot spring in Europe – Deildartunguhver, and the Hraunfossar waterfalls.
The Vídgelmir lava tunnel has an aid of a walkway and lights that makes it able to see the magnificent inside of this wonderful cave, only with cave expert guides.
After the visit, you will visit a geothermal pool in Húsafell, where you get the chance to relax in the nice and warm water.
With this tour, you go on a beautiful route to Borgafjörõur and Borgarnes, where you will have a short stop.
Just after entering Snæfellsnes peninsula, you will get a chance to spot the wildlife that inhabit the beach. After that, you will visit the idyllic Arnarstapi village, where you will take a stroll to view the unusual landscape along the shoreline, before you continue the trip the Hellnar. In Hellnar you will have a short break for lunch, before continuing to the Vatnshellir lava tube cave, located in the Snæfellsjökull National Park.
While exploring Vatnshellir, you will see a variety of stalacites, stalagmits and unique lava formations. After the lava tunnel, the tour continues to Djúpalónssandur, a silent and black-pebbled beach, offering magnificent views over the sea. The trip continues past landscapes to the north coast of Snæfellsnes peninsula to a small fishing village, called Grundarfjordur.
Out of the Grundarfjörður route, big lava fields can be found. The Berserkjahraun is known, because of Viking legend, telling that two Swedish “Berseks” copied Iceland’s first road.
In this tour you will get a great combination of sightseeing of the South Shore of Iceland and an easy activity – glacier walk. In this tour you will experience farming lands, black sand beaches, thundering waterfalls, powerful volcanoes and majestic glaciers.

The tour continues with an easy hike on the ancient ice of Sólheimajökull glacier with a knowledgeable and certified glacier guide. The walk is rather easy and suitable for everyone who does not have problems with walking. All safety equipment will be provided.
During the tour you will also stroll along the black sand beach of Reynisfjara and see the Reynisdrangar pillars. On a clear day you may have a good view of famous volcanoes, Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull.
