All bridge deck (upper deck) cabins are located on the outside above the waterline with a window and open onto the deck offering perfect views. The deck also serves as the sun deck and houses the ship’s bar. There are nine cabins, each offering a warm welcome with champagne, fresh fruit, and a bathrobe. Additionally, there is a toilet and shower on this deck.
M/S Diana is the youngest of the company’s ships, built at the Finnboda shipyard outside Stockholm and launched in 1931. She had been ordered in anticipation of a wave of Swedish-American guests during the Tercentenary Celebration and was designed to travel the Göta Canal between Gothenburg and Stockholm. M/S Diana was listed in 2009, meaning that the National Maritime Museums consider her historically important.
Cabins: There are 25 cabins on three decks; main/lower deck (cabin category C), shelter/middle deck (cabin category B) and bridge/upper deck (cabin category A).
The dining room and lounge are found on the shelter deck and the bridge deck offers a covered aft deck with a perfect view.
All cabins are tastefully fitted with brass details and attractive textiles. They are small and cosy, giving an impression of how people once travelled. Please note that the bunk beds are 185 cm long. Some cabins are a bit longer than the length of the beds, allowing a bit more space. Should you prefer one of these cabins we ask you kindly to specify this at the time of booking.
On the upper deck there are four toilets - two of them are combined toilet and shower.
