Kongsfjord Guesthouse is an old farm dating from the 18th century and is located in the small village Kongsfjord, surrounded by mountains and the sea. Two charming wooden farm buildings have been restored to a high standard and offer comfortable accommodation. The guesthouse has tourist hotel class standard but due to its special charm, it is used for all hotel categories.
The rooms all have ensuite bathrooms and are tastefully furnished, combining modern facilities with traditional structures and items that have been in the owner’s family for many generations. The rooms have been named after people who have lived in Kongsfjord and who have helped built the place.
In the third building you will find the cosy restaurant. Staying at the Kongsfjord Guesthouse is certainly an experience out of the ordinary where focus is on friendly service, excellent home cooked food and a homely atmosphere.
Your hosts Åse & Trygg will make sure that you feel at home and they are happy to share stories of the everyday life of this traditional Norwegian fishing village.
