Fosshotel Laugar

Fosshotel Laugar is a tourist class summer hotel, located in Northeast Iceland and is the gateway to some of the natural wonders of Northern parts of Iceland. The hotel offers 57 spacious rooms with private facilities, TV and phone. All guestrooms, restaurant and bar are non-smoking. The rooms are located in four buildings. The hotel buildings are used as a boarding school from September to May. There is an excellent new outdoor swimming pool next door to Fosshotel Laugar.

Please note that the hotel standard in Iceland outside of Reykjavik is basic, but still very comfortable (tourist class hotels no more than 3 stars). All the hotels included in our tours have private bathroom facilities and breakfast is included.

Hotel rooms in Scandinavia are generally furnished with twin beds, which can be moved together to form a double bed or placed separately (some hotels have double beds though). Unless otherwise specified all rooms have private bathroom facilities, which are often equipped with a shower instead of a bath. Please note that single rooms are generally smaller than doubles. Purpose-built triple or family rooms are likewise unusual in Scandinavian hotels. Whilst it is possible for 3 persons to share a room, this will normally be formed by a double room with an extra bed. As a result space may be restricted.

Unless otherwise clearly specified a standard room/cabin is included in the tour price.
