Visit the unique Polar Park, the northernmost animal park in the world, which is beautifully located in the Salangsdalen Valley in Bardu, 75km north of Narvik. You will be picked up at one of the hotels or the train station in the morning and transferred to the Polar Park. During this Norwegian wildlife experience, you have the chance to meet wolves, brown bears, lynx, arctic foxes, elks, reindeers and other polar animals.
The park focuses on the welfare of the animals; within its enclosures, a natural environmental enrichment keeps the animals stimulated and active. Visiting the Polar Park in winter gives you the opportunity of seeing the animals in their thick winter fur. In addition, they are more active due to the low temperatures. At 15:00 hrs you will travel by bus to Tromsø.
