A perfect way to enjoy the thrill of mushing your own team of huskies together with your family. Nothing makes these dogs more excited than pulling a sled through the artic forest tracks just outside Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland.
When you arrive to the husky camp at the Wilderness Resort you will first meet the dogs and your guide, learn how to drive your sled and then head off for a thrilling dog sledding adventure through the magical forest. Afterwards there will be time to mingle with the dogs! You will also have the chance to sit down with the husky guides and have an informative talk while enjoying hot juice and cookies.
The duration of the dog sledding is approx. 20-30 minutes (6 km, depending on the snow conditions). Two adults and max. two children share one husky sled.

Thermal clothing during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woollen socks, hat), guide, safety instructions, hot juice, cookies, return transfer from Rovaniemi city centre hotels, Arctic TreeHouse Hotel or Apukka Resort. The activity takes place at Arctic Circle Wilderness Resort.
Special conditions: A minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone, you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating. This activity is not recommended for pregnant woman.
