Blue Ice Hike at Nigardsbreen

Join in on a 2,5-hour guided glacier hike at the Nigardsbreen Glacier – a branch of the glacier Jostedalsbreen. Visit ice caves, stunning ice towers, and deep blue crevasses.

Experience what glacier hiking is really like. Together with professional glacier guides and the right equipment you will explore the Nigardsbreen Glacier.

This is a more advanced blue ice hike than the short blue ice hike. Parts of the route have quite a steep climb up and down and the hike requires a good fitness level. The adventure starts with a 5-10 minute boat trip, followed by a walk up to the glacier. You will then be roped up and walk with crampons and an ice axe along the ice. Sometimes you might even have to crawl through ice tunnels.

This is an unforgettable experience so make sure you bring your camera.
