Cruise on the Lysefjord

This sightseeing tour takes you on a 3.5 hours cruise, with the famous Pulpit Rock in the starring role – and a impressive supporting cast of waterfalls, idyllic islands and magnificent scenery.

Discover Vagabond’s Cave and taste the water of mighty Hengjane Fall. The highlight of the cruise is the famous Pulpit Rock which is a mountain formed like a huge pulpit towering 604 meters over the Lysefjord. Visit the crack between the plateau of Pulpit Rock as long as it exists! It is said that on the day seven sisters marry seven brothers from the Lysefjord area, the plateau will tear itself away from the mountain and fall into the fjord.

Enjoy the spectacular view from the 25 x 25 meters flat mountain plateau, that was most likely formed by melting frost 10,000 years ago.
