The Flåm Railway has been described as one of the most stunning train journeys in the world and is one of Norway’s most popular attractions. The train runs between Flåm, at the Aurlandsfjord and Myrdal, situated more than 800 metres above sea level. From Myrdal, it is possible to take the train to Bergen or Oslo. The railway is one of the steepest standard gauge railway lines in the world. It runs through amazing scenery and you will be able to enjoy tall mountainsides and waterfalls. It is not just a rail journey, but a little adventure too – and indeed a must-do activity in Flåm.
