Travel from Bergen via the fjord village of Balestrand to Oslo. Embark on a fjord cruise on the Sognefjord with an optional fjord & glacier excursion to Fjærland, before continuing comfortably on the Flåm- and Bergen Railway.
Arrival in Bergen according to your own itinerary. Bergen is Norway’s second largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords. Bergen is with good reason called the Gateway to the Fjords due to its close proximity to the Norwegian fjords. This makes the city the perfect starting point for exploring the fjord region. After a few hours the cruise will continue along the Sognefjord, the world's longest and deepest fjord, to the fjord village of Balestrand. Arrival around noon. Afternoon at leisure in Balestrand.
