We invite you to experience Sweden's world renowned Ice Hotel, beautifully decorated with Ice Rooms, Ice Bar and Ice Sculptures. Combine an overnight at the world's largest Ice Hotel with a visit to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

The selected tour can commence in Stockholm.

April 1st: Visit Stockholm - the capital of Sweden

Arrival in Stockholm according to your own itinerary. The Swedish capital has a lot to offer its visitors. Everything from trendy bars and cafes to historical buildings; from modern shopping malls to unique boutiques; from vibrant city life to the tranquility of the Stockholm archipelago. Stockholm is, with good reason, often referred to as "Beauty on Water". This is partly due to its location on 14 islands, but also because of its neighbour - the Stockholm archipelago with 24 000 islands. Accommodation in Stockholm.

April 2nd: Day at leisure in Stockholm - overnight train to Kiruna

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day exploring Stockholm, both by land and by sea. We recommend one of the optional sightseeing tours, i.e. the Stockholm Panorama which will give you a good impression of the city and its sights. As an alternative we would also recommend an archipelago cruise. At 6pm your overnight train to Kiruna departs from Stockholm. Accommodation in a sleeping compartment on board the train.

April 3rd: Wilderness Snowmobile Safari - Sweden's World Renowned Ice Hotel

At 10 am you will be met at the train station in Kiruna and taken to Sweden's Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi. This Ice Hotel is Scandinavia's original, as well as largest, ice hotel. Each year the ice hotel is built from ice from the Torne River, and artists from all over the world gather in the small village of Jukkasjärvi to create the Ice Hotel and all its art made of snow and ice. At 1.30 pm you will embark on a 3-hour wilderness safari by snowmobile into the surrounding woods of Jukkasjärvi. See the area's fauna and hear stories about the old culture. A light, traditional wilderness meal will be served in the wilderness camp. Dinner on your own before your night at the Ice Hotel begins. Accommodation in Ice Rooms, where you will sleep comfortably on reindeer skins (please see hotel description for further details).

April 4th: Winter Activities in the Swedish Winter Wonderland

Wake up to a cup of hot lingonberry juice, before warming up in the sauna and having breakfast. This day is free to choose between several optional winter activities, including ice sculpting, dog sledding, snowshoeing and skiing. As an alternative you can also rent cross country skiing or snowshoeing equipment and head off on your own. Dinner on your own (please see Ice Hotel description for dining options). Accommodation at Kaamos Hotel (warm accommodation).

April 5th: Departure from Kiruna

Breakfast at the hotel followed by transfer to the airport. Please note that the flight from Kiruna via Stockholm and to your destination must be booked by yourself.
