Experience Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and the amazing nature surrounding the city. In just a few days you can explore the royal city, go on a full day cruise in the magnificent Stockholm Archipelago and join a wildlife safari to the Swedish countryside.

The selected tour can commence in Stockholm.

Day 01: Arrival in Stockholm

Arrival in Stockholm according to your own itinerary. The capital of Sweden is built on 14 islands and you are never far from the water. Well-preserved medieval buildings stand alongside modern architecture. Accommodation in Stockholm.

Day 02: Stockholm – evening wildlife safari

Breakfast at the hotel. This day is at your own leisure in Stockholm. Sights of interest include the Vasa Museum, Skansen Open Air Museum, City Hall, the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and much more. This evening you will be picked up from your hotel by an English speaking guide, who will take you on a 3-hour safari to Bornsjön nature reserve, located just outside Stockholm; offering an easy way to get to know the Swedish countryside with fields, forests and lakes. Perhaps you will also see wild animals, including moose, roe deer, hare and fox. Together with your guide you will walk in the forest, enjoy a cup of coffee and cake next to a beautiful lake and listen to stories about Sweden and Swedish traditions. This excursion is only available on Friday-, Saturday- and Sunday evenings; during hot summer days the wild animals are hiding in the forest, and comes out at sunset to eat from the fields. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel around 11 pm. Accommodation in Stockholm.

Day 03: Stockholm – full day archipelago cruise

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will embark on a full day cruise in the amazing Stockholm archipelago. The archipelago of 24 000 islands is located just outside the city and the best way to explore it is on a cruise of the inner and outer parts of the archipelago. The English speaking guide and friendly staff will make sure you have everything you need, while telling you about the places you pass along the way as well as giving guided tours of the islands you visit. There is also time to go for a swim and sun bathe or stroll around the islands at your own pace. Onboard the lovely ship Waxholm III, which was built in 1903, you will be served coffee, lunch and dinner in the beautiful dining room. All the meals are prepared with fresh products delivered every morning and cooked to order. At 8.30 pm you will arrive back in Stockholm. Accommodation in Stockholm.

Day 04: Departure from Stockholm

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Stockholm according to your own itinerary.
