Hotel Olafsvik is located in the heart of the charming fishing town of Olafsvik, close to the town’s harbour, tourist information centre and other services.
The hotel has 18 double rooms with private facilities and 11 rooms without private facilities. Each room is equipped with two single beds, a TV and a desk. The hotel also offers 19 studio apartments. At the end of the day guests can enjoy a meal in their lovely restaurant, which can seat up to 100 guests.
Please note that the hotel standard in Iceland outside of Reykjavik is basic, but still very comfortable (tourist class hotels no more than 3 stars). All the hotels included in our tours have private bathroom facilities and breakfast is included.Distances:
Hotel rooms in Scandinavia are generally furnished with twin beds, which can be moved together to form a double bed or placed separately (some hotels have double beds though). Unless otherwise specified all rooms have private bathroom facilities, which are often equipped with a shower instead of a bath. Please note that single rooms are generally smaller than doubles. Purpose-built triple or family rooms are likewise unusual in Scandinavian hotels. Whilst it is possible for 3 persons to share a room, this will normally be formed by a double room with an extra bed. As a result space may be restricted.
