Arctic Hotel Greenland is the world’s most northerly 4 star hotel. It is located right on the edge of the Ilulissat Ice Fjord – a wonder of the world which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Ice Fjord contains some of the biggest and most active glaciers in the world. It is like a park full of ice sculptures constantly changing. Shapes, colours and sounds from the icebergs are hard to forget – and while staying at the Hotel Arctic you will be able to enjoy the views of the beautiful fjord, even if your room does not have a fjord room you only need to step outside to see over the fjord. The main hotel building is located about 100 metres from the coast.
The hotel has the Restaurant Ulo which serves Greenlandic cuisine. The hotel has 85 rooms, all of them equipped with: Wireless internet for small fee, cable TV, telephone, radio alarm, extra pillow, hairdryer, floor heating in the bathroom, toiletries, mosquito net, desk, child’s bed, dimmable lamps, iron and ironing board, room service and laundry service 7 days of the week.Distances:
Hotel rooms in Scandinavia are generally furnished with twin beds, which can be moved together to form a double bed or placed separately (some hotels have double beds though). Unless otherwise specified all rooms have private bathroom facilities, which are often equipped with a shower instead of a bath. Please note that single rooms are generally smaller than doubles. Purpose-built triple or family rooms are likewise unusual in Scandinavian hotels. Whilst it is possible for 3 persons to share a room, this will normally be formed by a double room with an extra bed. As a result space may be restricted.
Unless otherwise clearly specified a standard room/cabin is included in the tour price.
