Icelandair Hotel Fludir is a stylish hotel in the Icelandic countryside, only about an hour drive from the capital, Reykjavik. The village Fludir is the mecca of Icelandic vegetable cultivation, using geothermal heat in greenhouses to grow fresh vegetables year round. The restaurant at Icelandair Hotel Fludir only uses fresh vegetables from Fludir for their dishes, all year round so you can be sure to be getting the freshest vegetables in Iceland
The hotel has 32 comfortable, bright & modern rooms which all have parquet flooring. All rooms have private facilities. All guests can use the garden outside the hotel and relax in the outdoor hot tub or get cozy with a blanket by the fireplace. If you are traveling during summer you can sit outside and watch the midnight sun and if you are traveling in winter time you might see dancing northern lights in the sky.
Hotel rooms in Scandinavia are generally furnished with twin beds, which can be moved together to form a double bed or placed separately (some hotels have double beds though). Unless otherwise specified all rooms have private bathroom facilities, which are often equipped with a shower instead of a bath. Please note that single rooms are generally smaller than doubles. Purpose-built triple or family rooms are likewise unusual in Scandinavian hotels. Whilst it is possible for 3 persons to share a room, this will normally be formed by a double room with an extra bed. As a result space may be restricted.
Unless otherwise clearly specified a standard room/cabin is included in the tour price.
