Karlaby Kro is a small hotel situated in the little village Karlaby in the middle of Österlen, close to the ocean. The hotel is built around a courtyard and has whitewashed walls and thatched roofs and is surrounded by billowing fields and its own park.
The restaurant, the bar and the reception are found in the main building, while the hotel rooms are situated in the wings, once the farm stables. There you will also find a living room with an open fire, a TV and an Honesty bar, where you can serve yourself a drink. In connection to the stable you will find the indoor pool and just outside there is a terrace with sun beds. The main building and the stable are connected by the cobbled yard where you during summer can sit in the shadow under the trees.
The kitchen is inspired by Skåne, Denmark and the Mediterranean. The seasonal menu varies depending on what the local producers have to offer.
All rooms have a TV and a telephone, and some rooms also have a stereo with music to play. Some bathrooms have both a shower and a bath.Distances:
Hotel rooms in Scandinavia are generally furnished with twin beds, which can be moved together to form a double bed or placed separately (some hotels have double beds though). Unless otherwise specified all rooms have private bathroom facilities, which are often equipped with a shower instead of a bath. Please note that single rooms are generally smaller than doubles. Purpose-built triple or family rooms are likewise unusual in Scandinavian hotels. Whilst it is possible for 3 persons to share a room, this will normally be formed by a double room with an extra bed. As a result space may be restricted.
Unless otherwise clearly specified a standard room/cabin is included in the tour price.
