Flåmsbrygga Hotel is a modern, family-owned hotel, which opened in 2008. It is just a few steps from the ferry and train station in the fjord village of Flåm.
The hotel has 42 rooms with balcony from which you have stunning views of the Aurlandsfjord or the surrounding mountains. The rooms have a private bathroom, comfortable beds and a kettle for making tea or coffee exactly when you please. All rooms have furthermore satellite TV and wireless Internet.
The hotel has an attractive modern design combined with typical Norwegian style, making use of Norwegian pine, driftwood, natural stone and glass.
The hotel’s restaurant Furukroa, where breakfast and dinner is served, is located in a building next door. In summer, the terrace is a nice place to sit and watch the boats coming in and out the harbor.
Please note: There are only two hotels and one apartment hotel in the fjord village of Flåm. If Flåmsbrygga Hotel is fully booked we will book Fretheim Hotel or Flåmsbrygga Marina as an alternative (no changes in the price). Although the hotels differ in style they are all comfortable tourist class hotels and are used for Hotel Category 1 and Hotel Category 2 bookings. In case an overnight in Flåm is not possible we will offer accommodation in the mountain village of Geilo instead.Distances:
Hotel rooms in Scandinavia are generally furnished with twin beds, which can be moved together to form a double bed or placed separately (some hotels have double beds though). Unless otherwise specified all rooms have private bathroom facilities, which are often equipped with a shower instead of a bath. Please note that single rooms are generally smaller than doubles. Purpose-built triple or family rooms are likewise unusual in Scandinavian hotels. Whilst it is possible for 3 persons to share a room, this will normally be formed by a double room with an extra bed. As a result space may be restricted.
Unless otherwise clearly specified a standard room/cabin is included in the tour price.
