Learn more about photography in the dark. Your guide will bring a camera and tripod for you, but you can also bring your own if you prefer. Far away in the wilderness and away from the city lights you have great chances of capturing the Northern Lights on camera.
Together with your guide, you will go to hidden places in the wilderness and get acquainted with the camera. The guide will teach you everything about the basics of night time photography and, if you are lucky, the Northern Lights will be dancing across the sky and you can practice your skills on the Northern Lights.
At the end of the evening you will finish the photography course with a nice hot drink to warm up. You are then transferred back to the Ice Hotel by mini bus with beautiful pictures to take home with you.
This tour is for beginners and includes a guide, camera, and tripod. You can also choose to bring your own camera, and your guide will help you get the settings right for the purpose of your shoot. Remember to bring your own SD memory card of at least 4 GB.

Special conditions: Minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating. You can bring your own camera, or borrow a camera from the Ice Hotel. If so, you should bring your own memory card (at least 4GB) so you can take the photos home with you. You can also buy a SD memory card on spot.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
Northern Lights: Kindly note that Northern Lights observations are never guaranteed (depending on solar activity and a clear sky). No refund can be made for activities booked if you do not see the Northern Lights.
