Sibelius Concert Experience in Helsinki

Listen to the concert of the beautiful compositions of the well-known Finnish composer Jean Sibelius at the Historic Balder Hall and talk to the artists.

This fantastic experience gives you the chance to listen to a 45-minutes long concert of the beautiful compositions of the well-known Finnish composer Jean Sibelius at the Historic Balder Hall. Talented artists from all over the world perform Sibelius’ most famous pieces like Finlandia, Kuusi, Romance, Rondino and Valse Triste. Furthermore there is a visual illustration of Finland’s most scenic landscapes in order to point out the importance of the nature to Finland’s identity.

Afterwards you have the chance to talk to the artists while enjoying a non-alcoholic drink. You will receive a CD as a giveaway as well as a booklet which has been designed for this special occasion.

Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) was a Finnish composer and violinist, who is widely known as one of the most important Scandinavian composers. His music is recognized to have helped Finland to develop a national identity during its struggle for independence from Russia.
