Flåm - World Heritage Cruise Nærøyfjord - roundtrip from Flåm (new vessel)

Medium

Experience the great Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, two of Norway’s most attractive fjords on a new eco-friendly vessel. The Nærøyfjord, a branch of the Sognefjord, has been included on UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 2005 and is considered to be among the most scenic fjord areas on the planet. Its outstanding natural beauty is derived from its narrow and steep-sided crystalline rock walls that rises up to 1400 meters direct from the fjord. The new boat cruises between Flåm and Gudvangen in 1,5 hours. Parts of the journey will be at high speed, before it switches to battery power when you reach the most scenic parts of the fjord and allows you to enjoy the scenery to the fullest. The ferry design is inspired by a trail finding its way up a steep mountainside. It measures 40 meters in length and 15 meters in width. Outside the ferry, passengers will be able to climb all over the boat while the inside will feature panoramic views.

This excursion includes a 1,5-hour cruise by passenger ferry on the Nærøyfjord, as well as the bus ride back to Flåm.
