South Coast, Waterfalls & Glacier Hike in Reykjavik

This tour takes you to South Iceland travelling through lush farmlands with views of powerful volcanoes, glaciers and thundering waterfalls. You will stop for a unique glacier hike experience.

You will visit Skógafoss waterfall, arguably the country‘s most iconic waterfall and one of South Iceland‘s star attraction. From Skógafoss you travel to Sólheimajökull glacier for a 1-hour walk in a spellbinding glacier landscape. The tour continues with an easy hike on the ancient ice of Sólheimajökull glacier with a knowledgeable and certified glacier guide. The walk is rather easy and suitable for everyone who does not have problems with walking. All safety equipment will be provided.Heading back to Reykjavik from Sólheimajökull you will stop at the iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall, from where you can walk behind a curtain of water.

Clothing: Bring warm outdoor clothing (waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves, and proper hiking boots). It is possible to rent outdoor clothing for an additional cost.
