Fjord Safari & Hike to Mountain Farm

Experience the fjords and mountains. Join this fjord safari by RIB-boat and hike with a local guide to a mountain goat farm. Enjoy the views, try Norwegian cheese and say hi to the goats.

The tour starts with a fjord safari by RIB-boat into the heart of the Nærøyfjord, where you will see the grand Sagfossen waterfall. In the Aurlandfjord the boat docks in Skjerdal, where the hike up to the Leim goat farm starts. The hike takes about 1,5 hours uphill. Along the way, you can enjoy views of breathtaking scenery, fjords, and waterfalls. At Leim, you will visit the goat farm and will learn more about the making of traditional goat cheese. Lunch will be served outside on the terrace with cheese tasting and a main course based on local and home-grown products. Afterwards, you hike down again and return to Flåm by minibus.
