Medium

On this 3-hour sightseeing tour by bus you will experience the best known attractions in the city centre of Bergen, such as the Hanseatic Wharf and the Fish & Flower Market.

The sightseeing tour continues on to Troldhaugen, which was Edward Grieg’s home for 22 years. At Troldhaugen you can participate on a guided tour with one of the museum guides.

The return journey takes you past the Gamlehaugen (the Old Hill) which is the official royal residence in Bergen. Gamlehaugen is a castle-like villa which was built for Christian Michelsen in the years 1900 to 1902. After the death of Michelsen the building was given to the state.

There is also a short stop at Fantoft Stavkirke (stave church). The original Fantoft stave church was built in Fortun in Sogn in 1150 and moved to Fantoft in 1883.The church was totally destroyed by fire June 6, 1992, has been rebuilt as it was before the fire. We would like to inform that the path down to the church is steep, and may not be suited for everyone.
